Description

The Dutch AI Factory (NLAIF) will bring together cutting‐edge computing, advanced data management, and a collaborative expertise centre and network to drive advances in artificial intelligence across industry, academia, and public sector. 

NLAIF will be installed in The Netherlands. It will be owned by the EuroHPC JU and managed by Stichting NLAIF, the hosting entity consortium composed by SURFSamenwerking NoordTNO and AIC4NL

The EuroHPC JU will award a single contract to the successful tenderer for the acquisition, delivery, installation and maintenance of this AI-optimised supercomputer. Accordingly, prospective contractors should demonstrate proven experience in acquiring, delivering, installing and maintaining supercomputers in environments comparable to those required under this procurement procedure. 

The solutions to be procured are expected to outperform existing solutions in the following areas:

  • Performance/TCO;
  • Usability for AI model and application development, testing and deployment;
  • Versatility in adapting to new AI use-cases that are transforming the supercomputing landscape;
  • Security, including data security and the provision of Secure Processing Environments;
  • Reliability for industry workloads; 
  • Energy efficiency.  

     

The estimated total value for the call is EUR 64 100 000. The closing date of the call is set for 30 April 2026, 16:00 CET.
