BottleCap SE, a Prague-based European research and development company, is building the next generation of efficient large language model (LLM) training and inference methods. The goal is to become a prominent research center in Europe. The goal is to establish Europe’s leading AI research center, ensuring technological sovereignty and reducing dependence on non-European infrastructure. The project has already demonstrated 50% efficiency gains in LLM training within three months and target 100× efficiency improvements over the coming years. GPU resources from EuroHPC will allow the project to accelerate experiments, benchmark architectures, and release critical research for Europe’s AI ecosystem. The efficiency gains could significantly reduce the natural resources needed for training and serving current AI models.
