AI Giga Factories Initiative | Info Session

This flagship initiative aims to decisively strengthen Europe’s AI computing capacity and advance European technological sovereignty.

The webinar will present the overall strategic framework and provide comprehensive details on the upcoming call. Topics covered will include the technical and operational requirements, the evaluation criteria, instructions for the submission of tenders, financial and legal guidelines, and the anticipated timeline for the procurement process.

The session is designed to offer practical guidance and clarify the joint procurement process. It will feature dedicated Q&A segments to address questions,  and gather valuable feedback from potential applicants, interested investors, and other key stakeholders interested in participating.

Participants will gain insights into:

• The strategic vision and objectives of the AI Gigafactories initiative.
• The core elements of the call text, mandatory requirements, and main evaluation criteria.
• The anticipated timeline and next steps for interested consortia and applicants.

The dedicated Q&A sessions of the webinar will be led by representatives from the EuroHPC JU and the European Commission.

By sharing this preparatory information simultaneously in a public forum, the EuroHPC JU guarantees a strict level playing field, ensuring that all interested parties have equal access to the exact same information prior to the official launch of the call.

This means participants will only be able to view the presenters will not see the names or profiles of other attendees. To further guarantee this confidentiality, the EuroHPC JU will not disclose or publish any information regarding the identity, affiliation, or attendance of the participants.

Please also note that, given the preliminary stage of the call preparation process, the organisers reserve the right not to share the recording and presentation materials following the event.
