AI Giga Factories Initiative | Info Session

This flagship initiative aims to decisively strengthen Europe’s AI computing capacity and advance European technological sovereignty.

The webinar presented the overall strategic framework and provided comprehensive details on the upcoming call. Topics covered included the technical and operational requirements, the evaluation criteria, instructions for the submission of tenders, financial and legal guidelines, and the anticipated timeline for the procurement process.

The session offered practical guidance and clarified the joint procurement process. It  featured dedicated Q&A segments to address questions,  and gather valuable feedback from potential applicants, interested investors, and other key stakeholders interested in participating.

The primary purpose of this Info Session was to ensure maximum transparency and equal treatment for all potential tenderers. By sharing this preparatory information simultaneously in a public forum, the EuroHPC JU guarantees a strict level playing field, ensuring that all interested parties have equal access to the exact same information prior to the official launch of the call.

To ensure a secure and confidential environment at this preparatory stage, the webinar was conducted in an attendee-anonymised mode. This meant participants could view the presenters and would not see the names or profiles of other attendees. To further guarantee this confidentiality, the EuroHPC JU will not disclose or publish any information regarding the identity, affiliation, or attendance of the participants.
