qex

QEX (Quantum Excellence) is a European Quantum Centre of Excellence, uniting leading research institutions and national ecosystems across Europe. QEX is a collaborative hub of scientists, engineers, and innovators dedicated to advancing quantum computing for science, industry, and society.

The project provides researchers and end-users with access to Europe’s most advanced quantum hardware, open-source software, and training programs. By co-developing applications, offering hands-on support, and fostering an open-science community, the QEX project pushes the boundaries of quantum technologies and accelerate their integration into real-world use cases.

In addition, it offers a comprehensive, flexible training program to upskill academia and industry in quantum computing and simulation. The program focuses on developing and applying quantum-enabled algorithms, software, and applications.

Led by consortium members and external experts, trainings are tailored to all levels, from beginners to advanced developers, and integrated with European and global initiatives. Materials will be openly accessible, with an annual calendar coordinating and promoting events to ensure long-term capacity building.
