Description
MeluXina-AI is the system component of the Luxembourg AI Factory. This new AI-optimised supercomputer will deliver high-performance computing capacity to support AI innovation.
MeluXina-AI will be installed in Bissen and Bettembourg (Luxembourg). It will be owned by the EuroHPC JU and operated by LuxProvide.
The EuroHPC JU will award a single contract to the successful tenderer for the acquisition, delivery, installation and maintenance of this AI-optimised supercomputer. Accordingly, prospective contractors should demonstrate proven experience in acquiring, delivering, installing and maintaining supercomputers in environments comparable to those required under this procurement procedure.
The solutions to be procured are expected to outperform existing solutions in the following areas:
- Performance/TCO;
- Usability for AI model and application development, testing and deployment;
- Versatility in adapting to new AI use-cases that are transforming the supercomputing landscape;
- Security, including data security and the provision of Secure Processing Environments;
- Reliability for industry workloads;
Energy efficiency.
The estimated total value for the call is EUR 80 000 000. The closing date of the call is set for 25 March, 18:00 CET.
