What are EuroHPC Quantum Computers?
EuroHPC is deploying a family of quantum computers hosted in Europe and tightly coupled to EuroHPC supercomputers. These systems will allow users to explore hybrid classical–quantum workflows, where quantum processors are used alongside powerful HPC systems for specific algorithmic steps. This gives European researchers, industry and public administrations early access to a range of quantum platforms within a trusted European infrastructure.
Our quantum computers
EuroHPC is procuring and co-funding several quantum systems hosted at EuroHPC sites. They are integrated with Tier-0 supercomputers and represent different technology platforms (for example superconducting qubits, trapped ions, photonic or neutral-atom systems). This diversity allows users to test algorithms and applications on multiple architectures, in line with the “no-regret”, multi-technology approach followed by Europe.
