The European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) is launching the procurement process for a EuroHPC quantum computer to be hosted and operated by SURF in the Netherlands.

JUPITER, Europe’s first exascale supercomputer, was inaugurated today in Jülich, Germany by Chancellor Friedrich Merz & European Commissioner Ekaterina Zaharieva. The inauguration marks the beginning of a new era for European supercomputing.

The HANAMI project marked a significant milestone today with the signing of a Letter of Intent (LoI) between RIKEN and the European High-Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU).
